Solutions To Climate Change
Climate is the prolonged average of weather, and this goes up to about 30years. Some of the things that are measured, and they define climate include temperature, humidity wind, pressure, rainfall, among other elements of nature. The broader meaning of climate is the state of components in the climate system, and this can include the earth, the ocean, and ice. Some of the things that affect climate consists of the latitude, altitude, terrain and water sources and their currents. Climate can change dues to some reasons. Climate can change for the better, or it can change to the worst where the weather, temperature, and other elements become completely different.
To maintain the climate of a specific area, there are things that you can do. The majority of scientists have come together to educate people on how to manage the earth so that they can prevent the change of climate. Some of the following changes will allow the environment to remain constant, or it can even change the climate for the better.
One of the solutions to climate change is to forego fossil fuels. This is the elimination of the use of charcoal, oil, and natural gas. This is what most people survive. It must be somehow difficult to let go of using these things, but once people learn the importance of climate, they will learn how to appreciate it and hence guard it. Some of these energies require you to burn forests. For instance, the use of charcoal requires an individual to cut down a tree and burn it to produce charcoal. This can lead to deforestation, which in return, will result in a lack of rainfall. One of the solutions to the use of fossil fuels is to use wind power as the wind-driven turbines to produce energy. You can also decide to use biodiesel because it is natural. You can also choose to use plant-derived plastics.
Another solution to climate change is to use other means of transport that do not produce harmful gases or consume fuels. It has been recorded than transportation is the second leading source of greenhouse gas emission on earth. One of the solutions to avoid using these fuels is to use other means of transport that will not create pollution for the environment. You can move closer to work. You can also use other means of transport, like bicycles to work or the market. If you live close to where you are going, you can also opt to walk. The government can also restrict flights to only those places that are long distances. This is because aircraft emit most gas in the air, and this is causing massive global warming. The use of trains can replace planes if people are going for long distances.
Another solution to climate change is to be efficient. This means that you use what you require, and hence there is minimal wastage. This, in most cases, applies to the citizens in the developed world. This starts by stopping simple things like turning the lights and taps off after use. This may seem small, but over time, it can bring massive change.
